CNC Milling & CNC Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities:

  • Fresh graduate / 3 years and above experience in CNC machining
  • Able to know the usage of caliper, mircometer, pin gauge or block gauge
  • Capable of calculating and adjusting tool speeds & feeds to match machining conditions
  • On job training provided
  • Knowledge of cutting tools. grades and application
  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Good Problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Controller:  Brother , Fanuc , Dmg (heidenhain) , Okuma (OSP suite)
  • To interpret parts drawing, geometric tolerancing and machine code
  • Design Fixture/Jig for machining parts.

CNC Milling Programmer

Responsibilities:

  • Fresh graduate / 3years and above experience in CAD/CAM program
  • Able to interpret parts drawing, geometric tolerance and machine code
  • On job training provided
  • Able to follow standard procedures (program or work instruction) of the company.
  • Able to design Fixture/Jig for machining parts.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools. Grades and application
  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement

Requirements:

  • NX version 12 & below.
  • Create program & work instruction sheet for CNC milling or lathe.
  • Update Program and Work instruction sheet if necessary or for improvement
  • Manage/Keep Program and work instruction in file server.

Precision Grinder

Responsibilities:

  • Positions and secures workpiece on magnetic chuck, in holding fixture, or directly to machine table
  • Selects grinding wheel, grinding speeds, and feed rates for each operation according to knowledge of metal properties and abrasives, and mounts wheel on spindle.
  • Moves device to dress wheel.
  • Moves controls and reads dials to set rotation speeds and feed rates.
  • Positions and tightens stops to limit table travel.
  • Moves controls to feed workpiece to wheel or vice versa.
  • Turns valve handle and directs flow of coolant against wheel and workpiece.
  • Verifies dimensions of ground workpiece for conformance to specifications, using such measuring instruments as micrometers, comparators, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and load test equipment.
  • May dress grinding wheel to specified profile for contour grinding, using special fixtures and tools.
  • May grind nonmetallic materials, such as plastics.
  • Advanced Math skills including calculation of feeds, speeds and distances, print conversion and geometry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Ability to read and understand Blue Prints and GDT.
  • Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.)
  • May be required to have experience with particular material, product, or precision level, or with machine of particular size, type, or trade name.

EDM Wire Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Check prints and/or drawings.
  • Meet with engineering to review machining requirements and 3D machined components.
  • Program, edit and rewrite EDM wire machines programs.
  • Manufacture or select appropriate work holdings and fixtures.
  • Perform mechanical tasks including loading and unloading vices, fixtures and parts.
  • Establish and set appropriate tool offsets.
  • Measure in-process parts to conform to blue print, customer requirements and tolerances.
  • Trim or de-burr parts to customer specification.
  • Identify, use and interpret appropriate calibrated metrology device for piece-part inspection.
  • Continuously review work orders with supervisor to organize and optimize daily work.
  • Communicate all program changes and other work related issues to supervisor.
  • Follow and update all paperwork, work orders, time records, etc. associated with position.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety.
  • Perform other job related functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Requires between 3 and 4 years of vocational education, related work experience or apprenticeship in manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of die components and clearance and offset requirements.
  • Ability to multitask running several machines while creating new programs.
  • Ability to read and understand Blue Prints and GDT.
  • Advanced Math skills including calculation of feeds, speeds and distances, print conversion and geometry.
  • Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to receive and give oral and written instruction.
